  I'm not really a "handy-man" so I depend on the staff at Dave's to help me out with the technical end of the various "honey-do" projects I get. I've never been let down. They always give honest advice even if it means I have to go elsewhere. The prices are some what more that discount stores, but the convenience, friendly service, and technical assistance are more than sufficient to outweigh any price differential. I'd much rather deal with local staff that knows me by name than the nameless, automatons that staff other, larger stores who know where a hammer is located but haven't a clue how to use it. As they say "Ace is the place."

  Good selection. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. It's a good alternative to having to trudge all the way to the back of a big box store. There's a few good Ace Hardware stores left and this is one of them.
